What Is Cycling A Tank?

Hi. I currently Have a 10 gallon aquarium with

2 x Blue dwarf gourami
1x emerald corydoras
1x african dwarf frog
1x butterfly pleco

And im getting a 25 gallon pretty soon.

Im so confused about what cycling a tank is, and how to do it! Couldsomebody possibly help me?
