What is a natural behavior?

I have a clown fish and am noticing what appears to be not natural behavior. He is laying on the bottom alot and just swimming around really slow. He also appears to not be eating, but that might just be when i am watching him. Anyone that has one or might know what could be up. Is it my tank settings? Thanks
