how fast do they grow?
and how much space will it take up?
will it be ok in there at full size?
will it bother smaller fish when full size?

i have a rhino pleco he is always out during the day pretty attractive looking too. I dont think that they get too big but please correct me if im wrong.

Common plecos tend top get to about 20 inches. They are quite slow growing. My next door neighbour has a 7 year old one that is 9-10 inches. They are peaceful, she feeds hers on cucumber and algie pelets.

I love my spotted raphael catfish, have 3, although they don't come out much in the daytime. Striped Raphael are a little bigger (7-8"), would be good size for your tank, but they also tend to hide a lot.

Golden nugget pleco don't get much bigger than 8" in a tank:

tehy are friendly, look very nice, but picky with water conditions

This fish from the index looks interesting to me also:
Brown hoplo, hoplo catfish

Common plec's grow 2'+ in the right conditions. So your tank is not big enough.

I'd say a BN though or maybe some kind of pictus catfish?

:good:

There are more than one type of common Pleco. Mine is Liposarcus Pardalis and he grew 1" a month for the first year. He seems to have maxed out at a foot (including his tail). He is in a 65ukgal Tank. :)

I have a featherfin catfish he's so beautiful max out at about 8 inches change patterns from baby to adult but very gorgeous!

theyll reach 10" in the first year if there kept in the right tank so there definately not slow growing.

my 11" plec adds about an inch every 2-3 months now so it has slowed a bit.

and 20" is wider than an average 350L tank so there not that suitable :/
