What Is A Co2 Diffuser And What Does It Do...

Hey,
I am starting to plant my Rio 180 and my 65 litre tanks. I know you dont need Co2 Diffusers but I have read that they do Make plants look alot healthier, any links for good ones? and whats involved in running them..

The C02 difusser is just part of the whole kit. You'd need the whole kit, cylinder included. There are some pinned topics in the PARC section of the forum on C02. They can be quite expensive to set up, i would do some reading on the subject before splashing out on a kit. Also i would always advocate, to try and grow plants without C02, as sometimes people will go into CO2 without understanding what it does and what its for.

There are other ways of introducing carbon into a tank, liquid carbon is always an option. This is dosed into the water column everyday, it helps plants tank carbon out of the water.

Just remind me what lighting you have in your tank...

I have Either T5 or T8 Lighting with an Aquaglow Light bar...
