What Happened To My Fish

Hi wonder if you know what killed my fish
All water tests are fine apart from nitrates 50-100 which is now 10 .
i had three fish die
2xangels
these had lots of excess muccus produced on there skin and there scales coming off
1 angel also had very swollen tummy not dropsy still ate well no problems and also had a couple of open ulcers from something
and i had a female bn die she had a very sunken in tummy
but the weird things is she ate all the time was out every day they got fed every day and she was the one that ate the most yet woudlnt seem to put on weight for some reason

I don;t know the answer but the fact the BN was eating a lot but still had sunkenm belly would that indicate a parasite inside? I;m sure I;ve read angels can carry these
