I picked up a new tank today only 60l i have got some dead coral and dont know what gravel to use. i wanted to use sand but it has an under water filter. Any idea so i can give it a good look.
Do you mean an undergravel filter, an internal filter or a sponge filter? All of those are submerged inside the aquarium.
Dorset pea gravel is the classic choice and one of the best options for an undergravel filter. Personally, I would swap for an internal or external filter and have play sand as substrate.
Agree with KK, more explanation needed. Also, you generally don't want to put coral in a freshwater tank unless you know that you want your mineral content (and hardness and pH) raised - most often not a good idea if you are a beginner.
