What Gourami Is This?

My LFS have this gourami, i think they are flame dwarf, but i'm not sure, could you help me ID then.

+1, there is a lot of other name for this species, fire Honey gourami, Red Sunset Honey Gourami...but they are all basically a red colour morph of the Honey Gourami

if your tank is big enough, you can get a small group (5). I would get only one male though.

My tank is 55 gallons, it have ended the mini cycle since the corys introduction, it has been stable for a week and this Saturday is fish buying time, i might get 1 male and 3 females, so a few question:

- Can Honey gourami and dwarf gourami live peacefully?? (if they can i'll get a pair of dwarf's)
- Are they any aggresive to other species?? (specially guppies)
- How hardy are then??

+1 again. Honey Gouramis do much better in groups (1 male only) as they tend to naturally shoal in the wild.

No, its generally not idea to mix Gourami species, especially semi-aggressive species such as Dwarf Gouramis

Honey Gouramis- Not really aggressive but will get slightly territorial and very mildly aggressive when in breeding mode.

How hardy are then??

Pretty hardy, as long as you have a healthy tank, they should adapt to your water conditions.

Tonight i'll do a water change and clean the tank, tomorrow morning i'll be getting 4 honey, 1 male 3 female, maybe i get 5, don't know yet. I'll report tomorrow.
