What foods should I feed my fry?

Anything I can find around the house?
For example I was told that my betta would eat peas every now and then...

Edit: I just feed them flake food... but if there's anything else I could find in my house that'd be nice. I know brine shrimp are easy to get, but y'all know my parents.

I give my swordtail fry a little bit of peas whenever I make them for the adult swordies, they seem to love them as much as the adults do. Just be sure to mush it up really well since the fry's mouths are so much smaller than the adults. Just give them a very small amount and be sure to remove any that they don't eat.

For about $2.30 us dollars, you can buy Sun-Dried brine shrimp, it really crushes up nice into powder and makes a great meal for the fry...as said earlier, peas are good aswell...

It's great. Hikari is one of my favorite brands...just be sure to make it tiny, so the fry can eat it!
