You mentioned in the video that you were interested in Discus. The tank is about 40 Gallons by your estimate, and (Some may disagree) But I would say a 55 gallon tank would be the minimum for Discus, so I`m not sure Discus would be suitable for your aquarium...

You also mentioned Cichlids, many of which would be much more suitable for your tank. I`m assuming you`re a beginner hobbyist, and I`m not well informed on Cichlids so I would head over to that section of the forum to gather more information, Check out this index, as far as I know it`s only on African Cichlids, not South American: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/forum/41-cichlids-african/

As to what fish in general you could put in your tank: You have a fair sized tank and could start up a wonderful community, your set up (When complete) Will be large enough for most easy to moderate fish.
There are factors that will affect what you can put in the tank such as the pH level and hardness of your water, as not all fish like high pH or very hard water, I suggest you test your tap water if you have the ability (Or bring a sample to the local pet shop and ask them to test it for you)

The major limiting factor to what you can put in your tank is compatibility of the fish species, and your own preferences.
You could easily start a small Cichlid community. You could also start a nice community tank of various small tropical fish like Live bearer`s and Schooling fish.

I find it`s best to wander around the forums reading the `Pinned` topics when doing research on fish I am interested in, learning about their compatibility with other species and their water preferences. If you have any questions, feel free to post.

Your tank has too many options to give a good answer on what exactly to put in it, the answers would all be what others would put in it, perhaps not what would be your ideal tank stock.

Welcome to the forum :)

Thanks so much for your opinion ill try the things you suggested to me.

If your thinking about cichlids Mbuna would be best for your tabk size such as Pseudotropheus Saulosi and/or Pseudotropheus Flavus both of which are beautiful fish.

I was thinking of doing 2 fire mouths but the Mbunas are an attractive fish.
