What Fish Should I Get

Hi,

I have several small fish so far in my tank and want something bigger and colourfull that wont hurt the others in anyway,

I have Zebra Danio, Guppies and shrimps, and the wife want to get a Kissing Gormy ( or what ever they are called).

What fish can i get that will go with this fish, we both like angel fish, but need some advice on this please

Well, how big is the tank?

Pink kissing gouramis can get up to 12" in lenght, while I've seen just kissing gouramis that only get to 6"
Both of them need a bigger tank.
What size tank do you have those guys in?

i have a 11 gal tank, just need something to add some nice colour to my tank

An 11 gallon tank is way too small for either angelfish or kissing gouramis. In fact, it's on the small side for danios- they really need more swimming space to thrive. For that kind of tank you are looking at small fish like guppies. How many fish have you already got in the tank?

i only have 4 zebra danio in this particular tank at present, planned to get the other fish mentioned today, so what small fish would you recomend that are really colourfull and would fit in nicely in this tank

I'm sorry to tell you this Andy
Zebra danios are a very active fish and need at least a 2ft tank to be kept happy. also they need to be in schools of at least 5.

if they are kept in a) too small a tank b ) to small a group c) both,
they will become very, very aggressive. this will get worse untill you have one alpha fish that will kill all other tank occupants.
I know this as I have seem it myself.

I think that you need to re-home the danios before you do anything else, before you lose everything.
