what fish should I get, must be tropical.

If you want some guppies and can collect them from the UK - I have millions you can have - can I stop them breeding? Can I heck!!!

You are going to need to be a bit more specific. How big is the tank you have or are getting. Have you researched the topic at all. See below

Many fish such as neon tetras, guppies, platies, corys and some gouramis make excellent community tank fish, but you may want something more specialist such as cichlids or butterfly fish, even discus (you will need a big tank for the dicsus).

In this case you are going to need to read a lot about compatability and water conditions. Some fish need salt while others such as tetras will die from salt

It is best to give us some idea whether you want big or small fish, easy to keep or something more challenging, and get sopme books on the subject.
