IVE JUST RECENTLY GOT MY TANK UP AND RUNNING AND ITS GOING WELL AT THE MOMENT I HAVE

SILVER TIPPED TETRA X4
RAINBOW SHARK
MOLLIES X2
COMMON ALBINO PLECO
PICTUS CATFISH

I ALSO HAD 2 KRIB CHICLIDS BUT IT WAS LIKE THROWING 2 JACK THE RIPPERS INTO RURAL LONDON SO I HAD TO GET RID OF THEM.

ANY SUGGESTIONS TO WHAT ELSE I SHUD PUT IN MY AQUARIUM.

First of all, Welcome to the Forum!

What size tank do you have (gallons and dimensions please)? How long has it been set up, and what are your current water stats, PH, ammonia, nitrIte, nitrAte?

HI
MY TANK IS 125 LITRE (27 GALLON) AND I DID A WATER TEST YESTERDAY AND GOING BY THE TEST INSTRUCTIONS MY WATER WAS FINE THOUGH I CANT REMEMBER WHAT THE FIGURES WERE.

First off, please remove the Pleco. They are very messy, and commons can get to be 2 feet long in some cases. You should give it back to your LFS, it needs a bigger tank.

Most people recommend at least a 5'x2'x2' tank for a Common as they have the potential to reach 18".
Pictus catfish are best kept in groups of 3+ and need a bigger tank than 29G as they are very active.

ill get a couple more tetras when im in the shop at the weekend theyre lovely fish thanks for the advice.

any more suggestions they are appreciated.

MY TETRAS ARE STARTING TO BULLY MY MOLLIES A LITTLE BIT I WENT TO MY LFS AND I AM DECIDING HOW MANY MORE TETRAS TO PUT IN WITH MY ORIGINAL 4.

WILL THIS CALM MY TETRAS DOWN AND MAKE THEM HAPPIER.

I ALSO SAW A NICE CROWN TAIL FIGHTING FISH WOULD THIS BE OK IN A COMMUNITY TANK?

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

are you sure that the mollies are bullying your tetras because they are peaceful fish but if so, maybe you should check the water.

i wouldn't put the crown fighting fish but i'm not that sure. its just i can see the fighting fish, fighting with the shark because of territory. it also depends on the amount of hiding spaces

Don't put the Crowntail in the tank as it will either get nipped or become aggressive to your other fish.
