Ok, right now you have a 240l tank so you need to research fish that are suitable for the tank you have.

You seem to like oddballs so you could keep 2 or 3 senegal bichir and a talking catfish in there (with nothing else!)

Other options could be a pair of one of these - Firemouths/Rams/Kribensis (all nice smaller cichlids), a bristlenose plec (or a pair if you have somewhere to grow out fry), 4 zebra loach, 3 panchax (a type of killifish) and you could keep your half banded eel.

dutch style planted tank with driftwood rocks sand ect
canister filter and tock filter (normally u can get iy free with every juwel) it should be the one in the back right hand corner

I think you're needing to open you're eyes and read what people are saying to you. You're not just thinking of which size of fish will fit in a 450l, you need to look at compatibility ie, you need to research what ISN'T going to eat/kill/attack/intimidate each other.


On the other hand, could someone knowledgable not give him an idea of what could be kept in a tank that size?

Just adding reasoning in for size, I don't know much about the actual fish.

X3 Hujeta Gars - Need a MINIMUM of 192l(or there abouts) for a few specimens, but DO require much more as an adult.
X1 BGK - Need 200l - 300l
X1 Peacock Eel - Needs 75l as a Juvenile
X1 Half Barred Eel - Needs around 30gallons, and to be around other Half Barred Eels I believe?

See? That's only a few of what you've mentioned.

I'd suggest making another thread, as I think people may ignore this one now. List what kind of fish you like, what size of tank you have, filtration etc. And ask for suggestions on how to stock it.
