I hve 18 fish in there in total.

I`ve worked out so far i have 3 panda corys, 2 fancy goldfish and 3 spotted danios. (she thinks)
just 4 types left to work out.

regards fishcake.

Well so far I can tell you that you don't want the goldies with the others as goldfish are sub-tropical. They like waters cooler than tropical fish and are healthier for them. So if you can, get another tank for the goldfish and keep the others in a tank with a heater set at about 78F or i believe thats around 28C.

What size tank is this as well? this will help to define whether the tank is overstocked or not which may cause problems with fish health. :good:

The tank is quite big with a lid. It has Tropiquarium 88 written on it. It has a greenstick (?) inside which has bubbles comming out half burried in the tank. the fish seem to like this.

on one side it has a big black box in it which is the heater and filter i`m not sure. They said somethine about it was set to 77 and the tempeture stickers at each end say 24. I`m just waiting for my camera to be given back to me. can i post pics in this forum or do they have to be put somewhere special?

Well if your not sure on the size then measure the dimensions LxWxH, and from that, the gallonage can be extrapolated.

77F (24C) sounds about right

You have to post your pics on an photo hosting site like photobucket.com. than you can post the pics using the button on the top of the reply window next to the smiley pull-down and paste the hyperlink of the photo in the dialog box that pops up and it will post your pic(s) :good:

at a rough guess I would say the 88 stands for the amount of litres

I found a tropiquarium 88 on google and apparently it hols 130ltres which isnt a bad starting point. It is 3ft long so all we need now is those pics and then hopefully we can help you sort it out.

This is the first of the two yellow fish.

Below is the second. They look very similar but i`m not 100% so i`ve done a piccy of each.

The other 2 are rainbowfish. Not sure the species of the top one, the bottom one is just a generic Australian Rainbowfish - great fish!
