What Fish Could I Put In My 12gallon Tank

hi i am fairly new too the hobby and i am 13. i have a 12gallon/60l tank with 2 golden danios and 3 zebra danios and was wondering if i could put any other fish in it and if so what !!

If the tank has been set up and running with fish in for more than a month then you should be able to add some more fish. Check the ammoniaand nitrite levels before you do.

Danios are pretty peaceful but very active so tank mates should be pretty quick too. Most small barbs and tetras would be fine with them, as would Corydoras catfish.
Barbs & tetras should be kept in groups of 6 or more of their own kind. While Corydoras should be kept in groups of at least 4, but they will hang out with other Corydoras that have similar colours and markings.

next week i am going to get another danio and 2 tiger barbs and maybe another guppy to keep the other one company, however barbs and danios like to nip at long fins like guppys but i think now mine are fine together.

i also want to get 5 neon tetras and a pleco

I'd surgest that Tom_os has a few "holes" in his stocking plans for the future, but different set-up, different poster, different thread...

Guppies should be fine with danios, but htey are sencitive. They need a mature tank, arround 6 months old, or they will likely struggle. Many "advanced" or "experienced" aquarists struggle to care for them, as they realy are flimsy now, thanks to the trade inbreeding these fish

oddesa barbs are a big no no
up to 10 inches and in large groups so no im afraid corys are goood for clean up whist a centre piece fish such as dwarf gouramis are cool

Top two hits from Google. One says 4", the other 3". I've seen these at just over 3" before, at few years old in a 4ft tank, so they should have had the space to get to 10" if they were going to...
