that will suit my ph waters which are 7.4 so could someone give me a list of fish i could have that would be suited well in ph from 7 to 8

if you acclimitse a fish slowly when you first get them you can get a huge array of fish you only really need to be carefull of PH with really delicate species

been told its not right for them etc mate so dunno what to do any suggestions on fish?

Tank size??? That would be helpful.

And make sure your other tank stats are all good to.

my tank measuresments are length 39.5'' ( just say 39'' ) height is 19'' width is 17''

nice a 55 gallon.

Very large ammount of fish in a range of 7-8.

What i would do personally is a few angels and bala sharks, maybe some sword tails or neons, and some Kulie loaches,(spelling?)

and maybe more never had a 55 gallon

oh i thought they were just 6.8 sorry

Another thing that could help you decide is what types of fish of fish. Like a peacful community with shoals of smaller fish and some bigger ones, or maybe an aggresive tank with fish that are... Well aggresive. Another thing you could do is have a species only tank. Like a bunch of African cichlids. They have some very pretty colors.

All in all the choice is up to you. But when chossing fish, you will end up having to make sure they are in the same grouping. Like, don't put a Oscar in with guppies.
