hi

right tank is 48 l x 15 d x 18 h eheim external filter.
stock is as follows:

2 x tin foil barbs 4"
5 x denisoni barbs 3 "
2 x diamond barbs
2 x syno devorus 2"
1 x red tailed shark (black red tail)
2 x stripped barbs. 2"
3 x clown loach 2 "
all water tests good and has spray bar and air strip about 6 ".

iam looking for opinions on stock levels and whats will be compatible ideally with
lots of colour.
any chiclids or generaly colourful fish.
oh or any plants that might survive the tin foils.

I'm not sure I would be adding any more fish to that tank. The tinfoils will need more space later on when they get a bit bigger. Barbs are also schooling fish and should be kept in groups of their own kind. the striped and clown barbs get to about 5 inches as well.
I would think about getting rid of the tinfoils and adding some more of the other types of barb you already have. Later on maybe look at getting a bigger tank, especially if you want to keep the tinfoils.
There aren't really any plants (besides plastic) that won't be eaten in the tank.

Got to agree with Colin_T here, the tinfoil barbs needs to be in a bigger shoal and they will be way too big for your tank before they reach adult size.

Also the clown loach again will need a far bigger tank too - sorry mate.

If you can re-home those fish, then maybe add to the shoals you already have :)

I agree with rehoming the tinfoil barbs. Plus, barbs should be in groups of 5 or more. Possibly rehome the clown loaches too, they get big as well. If you want the barbs, than the fish can't really have long fins... so... I actually can't think of any colorful fish like that. Sorry man.

lose the loaches, or at least enjoy them for a while, then rehome them. with the barbs, even if theyre different type, they should still school. idk, are your different barbs still schooling all together?? mine do at least. other than that idk...good luck!
