I'm wondering what's the most useful to have in a filter. I've only got the filter sleeve stuff that's kind of like floss, with some more stuffed inside the canister. I do get a tiny bit of ammonia on occasion, but less than 0.01 according to the test kit. It's certainly not the best way, but probably the cheapest
