Hi

Need help. I want to CO2 my tank but i know ill kill the plants if theres no nutrients. Is there anything i can get and water down from the local garden store?

I see on websites theres phosphorous, potassium iron etc fertilizers, but buying a bag of each will cost me a pretty penny. Is there an all in one, or at the most, 2 mixes that i can use long term?

Also, is liquid form better, or is tablet form better. I want something that wont cloud my tank, ad i stopped the last plant food cos it made the tank cloudy.

Cheers

hmmm it is possible to buy those off the shelf terrestrial ferts but be carefull. they were designed to be used on terrestrial plants, and sometimes those ferts contain high traces of copper and sometimes even ammonia i think..

research on PMDD or the estimative inde. Depending on your location you can order dry ferts from online stores that would provide you with enough of it to last years.

i prefer powder dry form over anything else.. but thats just me.. lets wait what other people have to say.

okay. So i saw gardens direct and am about to order the potassium phosphate and potassium nitrate. But where will the plants get thier Iron from?
