What Else Can I Put In My Tank?

Hi and thank you again for your responses and the links. I cant return my sharks. About 2 weeks ago I bought 2 black tetras and they attacked and killed one of my swordtails, So I called my LFS to see if I can swap the Tetras for more swordtails. The lady gave me a big attitude and said Its not her responsibility, And I needed to read the signs on the tanks before I bought the fish and all that. I told her that the sign on the tank said community. She tried telling me that it didnt. She finally said i could bring them back and she'll swap them just this once. Well I guess that I really made her mad when I got there because I made sure to point out that the tank WAS labeled community. So I proved her wrong. Now all of a sudden There is a big sign hanging up that says "No refunds, exchanges of any kind."

If the sharks start getting aggressive I will give them to one of my friends who has a tank full of just sharks.

IMO IF YOUR LFS IS SO RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL THEN I WOULD FIND ANOTHER FISH STORE MY LOCAL FISH WILL SWAP/EXCHANGE AND REFUND IF THE NEED ARISE. GLAD TO HEAR YOU ARE A SWORDTAIL LOVER MY DAUGHTER HAS 2 ADULTS 1 MALE 1 FEMALE AND THEY ARE THE PROUD PARENTS TO 11 SURVIVING FRY MY DAUGHTER FAVORS THE SWORDTAILS AND IS A VERY ATTENTIVE FISH KEEPER FOR BEING ONLY 2.5 YEARS OLD (WITH MOMMIES HELP) SHE HAS MADE ME INTO A VERY BIG SWORDTAIL LOVER ALSO WE ARE PURCHASING VIRGIN FEMALES IN A FEW WEEKS FOR
OUR MALE SO THAT OUR LINE CAN IN EXCELLENT QUALITY GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR LITTLE ONES

I wish I could find a different LFS. But where I live that one is my only choice. There is not another one with in 50 miles of me. I love my swordtails. I think they are by far my favorite kind of fish.

you can shop on the internet and they can be shipped to your home i have a website of somewhere you can get some very pretty fish and more swordtails if you would like it just let me know

i'm planning on getting some hi finlyretail swordtails once i get a new tank

your welcome keep me informed as to what you get my daughters female swordtail is 2 weeks pregnant and already really big i'm having trouble sexing her swordtail fry they are 2 weeks old i've always been able to before her female guppy is preggers also so we already have our delivery/nursery tank already set up

A lot of people will ship you fish for shipping costs, especially with livebearers that are common. Check the forums first. I get all my plants that way when people trim their tanks. It's cheaper to pay shipping than to it is to buy plants.

On another note when I woke up this morning I had more fry in my main tank. I have no clue which fish had babies as the 2 that I know for sure are pregnant are still pregnant. Also these fry are like a black color, when the last 2 batches for swordtails were born they were orange. I managed to save 7 of these fry. Oh I am so confused LOL.
