What Does This Mean For My Amazon Sword?

Hello again guys, recently my amazon swords have started to be weird I guess. Difficult to describe but i'll do my best, some of the leaves seem to be 'curling' up at the tips a bit. And there does not seem to be any growth what so ever. One mini sproutling has appeared and that really is not much at all. The tips of the leaves are going a bit brown too, and all the swords have brown dots on them. What does that mean? Here are some images, bad quality but it's the best I could do.
And I have another question, is this normal for anubias nana? None of my other leaves have don't that thus far... What's going on? (3rd pic)
My bad. Completely ignore the 1st pic, they all look the same. That's when it was healthy I think. Is that what it's supposed to look like?

Swords are big root feeders, you might want to give them a bit of root tabs and they should put out some new growth! :)

Clear leaves - Too much light / Not enough CO2
The heavy root feeder myth won't help here but if you sort either or both of the above problems they'll certainly like the extra food like everyone else

IMO

thanks for the replies! I haven't got root tabs so that is probably it. s019, I don't have enough light. I know that for a fact lol. I have a single 15w t8 in 60 litres...
And not enough co2 is also a possibility. As I don't put it in.

So, I get root tabs and c02, and that should help yeah?

Whats your substrate?
For immediate help I recommend Flourish Iron, That will help with holes and melting. Also Flourish with all micro traces.
CO2 if you can handle it. Once you introduce CO2 you will need to be consistent and dosing correctly. Other wise you'll be dealing with unnecessary ugly algae that is hard to

i have gravel. And i have ordered root tabs and liquid co2.

Sorry I don't think I was clear.

Holes in leaves / Clear leaves comes from a lack of CO2 - The need for CO2 is driven by the amount of light. So if you're not currently adding CO2 then all you can do is look at the light - if you think it's not bright enough then you may have it on too long.
(Regardless of the watts etc - looking at your pictures - unless they're over exposed it looks plenty bright on the upper levels)

My position on other theories -
Heavy Root feeders - You need tabs - I'll guarantee that it's wet under your gravel, so even if swords didn't have massive leaves capable of foliar feeding they'd still be able to get food (provided you add it to your tank at all)
Lack of Iron - You often see the tiniest element blamed for the biggest failing in plants - Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorous, Magnesium, Calcium, Carbon will all probably be fine but it's lacking Iron.....OK.....
- Having said all that, you could still stick root tabs in and the plants look a bit better - I look better when I'vegot a cold and I eat chicken soup, but I've still got a cold.

All just IMO.

Thanks for the reply, but none of the leaves have holes in them.... And none of the leaves are clear i don't think they've just gone brown at the top

Top right pic - but no worries I'm probably wrong
