wont sit still

I dunno I'm stumped. I don't think its fat cause the other 2 in the tank are normal size and a little smaller and there's no pinconing of the scales so I don't think its dropsy.. then that leaves full of eggs?

Input appreciated

What about being bloated, that's a possibility? Maybe try feeding her a boiled pea.

 I never thought of gas/bloating. But how do I get it to eat a boiled pea? Hospital tank then throw some peas in until they're gone or just one single pea? Seems like kind of an odd remedy how does it work.

I know, seems odd to me as well, I mean how will you get something picky to eat a pea? When I was trying to get my betta to eat peas it turned up it's nose and ended up dirtying the water. Maybe wait to see if it passes or if she starts to pinecone and then try the pea.

Ok thanks. I'll give it a shot in the little 3 gallon tank I have tommorrow. Guess if it gets hungry enough it'll eat right.

I think pineconing of the scales is the last stage of dropsy so I wouldn't rule it out.

Umm yea about that. Does it have to be all over the fish? This would be my first case and hopefully the last. I just noticed last night that the scales were poping out on its bottom/belly/white area so I've got the danio in a quarentine <sp> tank. How contagious is dropsy and what should I be doing to my main tank in the mean time? :/
