What Does A Clean Up Crew Need?

I have a 5 gallon with live rock and added 4 hermit crabs and 2 snails last night. All seem to like climbing around the rocks while 1 snail likes to stick to the filter.
 
1) What are lighting requirements for a CUC?
 
2) Do they need food or will they be okay?
 
Any other tips to care for cuc would be great!

1) None, Do not need any type of lighting for a CUC
 
2) I would feed them, They'll mainly eat any left overs but you can feed your hermits shrimp pellets. The snails will eat up the algae.
 
Otherwise, They just clean up. That's all to it really
