omg my job is amazing for being a college student.... mon-fri 8pm-4am (hrs sux) weekends off, 4 weeks paid vacation, benefits, 401k, on top of that..... breaks are relaxed, i do what i want when i want, we dont noramiil have anything to do for the first 3 hrs im here. the only bad part is not many people post on here the hours im up :( but yea its awesome.

why do you need so many water conditioners? I would just use one good one, perhaps the stress coat.

if you want to keep medications and test kits for any length of time, keep them cool so they last longer. In a sealed container in the fridge is fine. But make sure kids can't get to them.
Also don't let the chemicals freeze otherwise it stuffs them up.

maybe a microscope, dissecting kit and fish disease book for reference.

spare fuses for plugs !! the ammount of times people have thought "Great thats knackered better get a new one" when its just been a fuse.

Spare filter foam / carbon as well as the spare filter just incase.

if you can a spare battery backup unit that can run the filter for a few hours incase of powercut.

spare light tube.

:) yeah, maybe a spare fish house out back built on a cement slab with central drain. hot and cold running water over each tank. heating and ac computer controlled year round with underground backup electrical generation. custom eheim filters with ethernet feedback to the house server and alarm system. com'on alex, get with it! you've got a lot to install :D

ok i just got off the phone with mason, they said they could have the brick slab ready is a few days. next is to call the plumber, electrician, and contractor.... so much to do so little time. lol

as far as the question for the water conditioner.... one of them removes nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, Chloramines, and chlorine.
the other is water conditioner with echlssces? (small print hard to read), vitamins and anti virus protection.

thanks for the replies

echlssces sounds like a gimmick to make money.

Well fed fish that are in good water with the correct parameters and temperature shouldn't need anything like that. A vitamin supplement can be used if the fish are run down but a well balanced diet should prevent any malnutrition.
Anti-virus protection sounds a bit iffy.

Maybe keep different types of food on hand, fish doesn't like to eat the same thing all the time.
