If it's any help to you I did keep Discus and Angels together as I mentioned before, my situtation was a lot worse when there was only one Angel in the tank of 5 Discus, and it was the Angel causing the problem. I guess you could try it, but you'd need to have another tank/owner ready for the Angel. I think I would keep them in seperate tanks it all possible.

if anything i would just decide whether it is the Angel or Discus you want, and choose one and make it around it, if you want to keep the angel..fine.. but discus can be quite more expensive and if you keep restocking it with more discus when they die, then your going to be digging into your pocket.
In all true honesty i wouldnt risk it, its never really come across to me to keep angels and discus together.
but if you want to risk it, go ahead, dont say we didnt warn you though.

Ok, I was forced to use Levamisole on my tank that had my angel in it 4-5 months ago...I got camallanus worms in many of my fish. The Levamisole worked in 12 hrs and the same night my rainbow fish spawned! I think I got camallanus from wild caught rainbow fish...I learnt the hard way how important quarantining is. So she should be free of worm parasites.

The stress of the worms caused a few deaths but the angel grew and grew! She is now alone in a 29g and growing even more! Her body is not huge Ive seen bigger, but her finnage is the longest and most delicate Ive EVER seen...

I also intend to use a uv sterilizer if I get Discus and angels together.

I do have a 55g, that I had to remove my juvenile 2" angel from 7 months ago because my rainbow shark didnt like her. Do you think that the angel will be fine with the rainbow shark now that she is much larger?
I HAVE to sell some tanks, in the end I will have my 55g and my 90g only...this is why I need to find a place for my angel...
