I was just wondering what you guy are feeding your bettas?? The problem i have is that the Danios which he is housed with always get to the food first and he ends ar eating the left over which float to the bottom. Which isnt great really.

So i was wondering if you guys knew of any Betta pellets or anything i could feed him which would ideally float down to the bottomm of the tank slowly so he can have din dins too.

betta pellets, tropical granules, FD brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms, peas, guppy bites.

foods like guppy bites and betta pellets should immediately spread widely across the water surface, which makes it easier for everyone to get some. also, if you stagger your input of the food across a few minutes, it can help, as can putting some at one end and some at others. Also, if you teach your betta to handfeed by holding some bloodworms a bit below the surface (takes patience), you can control who gets what a bit better.

I only feed mine Hikari Gold : Floating baby pellets.
It's the same exact food Hikari sells that are labelled as for bettas.

I feed my betta hikari bio gold and they seem to love it, it really seems to intensify their colors too.

They also get frozen bloodworm, brineshrimp and daphnia to add a bit of variety to their diets.
