What Do You Do With Your Fry?

I haven't had any fry yet, but I have about 20-30 Endler juveniles in a breeding trap. When they are ready to breed, I plan on raising them, and then taking them to our monthy aquarium club meetings. I will be putting them in the mini-autction at every meeting, or taking them to one of the LFS.

Hmmm thanks for that Bebobb I am going to have to see if there is something like that around here as it would be good for me to get out too  meet like minded people.

Oh yeah. Aquarium clubs are a joy! We are hosting our first official auction in the end of March, and I can't wait!

Let us know how it goes Bebobb and what sort of things are up for auction be really interested to hear (and of course any bargains you may get  )

Check my post in the Tropical Discussion forum to see what I picked up last night. And I will have my camera at hand all day on the day of the auction!

You have said nothing wrong Alind but many here will disagree with you. I prefer to find a way to allow mine to survive but when it must be done I will remove poor stock from my tanks.

I agree with you there. I used to get emotional over the thought but after all I am breeding for color.

Lately i've been collecting my Guppy fry...when I can catch them, that is. I tried putting them in a breeder/fry box but they're so small they are slipping right through the cracks. Ultimately though, i'm letting them fend for themselves because I have plenty of "safe havens" in my heavily vegetated 29 gal tank.
