Ever since I've started with SW fish I can never make up my mind about which fish I want to house. They are all so beautiful, but I think I've narrowed it down. I have a 55g w/ LR and LS and it's going to be a reef tank, so tell me what you think.

(1) Yellow stripe maroon clown
(1) Flame angel
(1) Yellow candy hogfish
(1) Scott's fairy wrasse
(1) Royal gramma
(1) Citron goby
(1) Blue reef chromis

Wow, everyone must be busy this week...lol

Heh, yeah welcome to my life :D

Anyway, some thoughts, but I'm by no means an expert. Everything looks good there for a 55g and most of those fish are very reef safe. I'm not sure if you've heard or not, but SOME individual flame angels develop a taste for some corals. Most individuals have no problems with them, but some crave delicacies, keep an eye on it as you never know. Also, I'm a little worried about the wrasse and hogfish combination... I do believe that I've read on some occasions that the two species can be very antagonistic towards one another. But dont take my word for it on that one, I've got no personal experience with the two :)

Agreed...not a big hogfish fan myself. Wrasse's are great fish and colorful. SH
