What Do Plants Need?

Ok so I am soon to begin my fishless cycle in my 48 litre tank. I am going to be putting a few small plants in the tank but I have never used real plants before, I have bough some Eco-complete sand for the tank as it has the nutrients needed for plants, what else will I need to keep the plants healthy??

HAve you read through all the pinned articles above? Checked other threads or researched anywhere else?

I would guess you haven't if you have come to the conclusion that Eco-complete contains all the nutrients that plants need!!!

The information is all available in this first page of pinned articles and other people's threads.

I'm sorry for the abrupt answer but I am getting tired of people asking before looking. I as others will help you with aspects you don't understand, but it gets tiresome how it is becoming more and more an ask first, then research as a last resort scenario on this forum!!!
