What Do I Need To Do

I am unsure what is going on with a Guupy. She was the original one left after the two male guppies died. She swims so fast she is all over the place. I think she is stressed . The water is good and the only thing I think of is it maybe some of her babies that were eaten . There is also about five guppy fry left and doing okay. Is she worried about these do you think ? Also could the others bully without chasing her etc Do they have a hierachy in their tanks?
What can I do to help her?

I can assure you, she is not worried about her fry in the least. They don't function like that. They even eat their own fry, so they can't care too much about them!

Yes, there is usually a pecking order, but it's more common with males. It will happen with females too, though. What sexes do you have in there at the moment?

I'm slightly confused as to what is wrong. All I get is she is pretty active? Is this like she's afraid? You could try planting up the tank, and putting in more rocks/wood/caves so she has a place to hide.

Yes I do not know what is wrong other than she is swimming like she will not live otherwise and her gills are flapping twenty to the dozen.

I will not put her in with the fry then. Unfortunately the two males I had died so i have now eight females as it was I had one and got six and one free.

I am sorting out the first batches of fry. And thought I'd wait until the pregnant ladies laid first.
I know but am not 100 % what I am doing.
got a fry tank today so that should help a lot.

How many gallons does the tank that they are in? Do you have any recent results for ammonia, nitrites or nitrates? If the gender ratios are fine and she is not being bullied or anything, it shouldn't be a social problem, but rather its more likely down to somthing in the enviroment maybe.

Out of the blue she has settled down again to her normal self. I just cannot think why she went like this.
My hubby says it's her hormones. ....

Well I saved but four fry told they can have forty so sad first time around. The trouble is I'm unsure and have left this all a bit to chance.

Will need to buy more plants I think.

The shop told me I'll need yet another tank this time for yearlings as you cannot put them in with the adult Guppies as by then they will then eat my babies. Wow how do other's cope??

I think I may need some males now but unsure really. All gets a bit overwhelming.
They are in 90 litres I guess approx 20 Gallons
