What Do I Exactly Need To Do If I Want To Import Fish From Us?

They are just normal Koi angels. Trick will be to go to the shop the day after deliveries and get them, as the solid coloured ones like that sell fast ;)

All the best
Rabbut

no way mate, i have been many fish shops in the UK, also googled everywhere. here we only have normal koi. In the US, the red koi has been breeded many years, the orange pigment almost covered 100% of the body. in the UK the best i can find is about 20% coverage.

no , the fish in the link is so called red angel, originally from Germany, the red color is kinda pink, it will soon fade away once the fish grow.

the ones in those pic i posted, the color will more intense when the fish grow.

You can get normal Koi's here in that colour. I should know, I sell enough of them  Yes, your average Koi only has partial coverage, but about 3-5 out of the 100 or so work ships in fortnightly have the almost full pink-to-red coverage. They are nice fish that get snapped up fast. Seriously, try getting to the shop very soon after a delivery, they'll almost definitely have a few :good:

Or just ask you local LFS nicely to hold the for you.

Thought those fish looked familiar; http://www.mellowaquatics.com/salesafg1.html It would be nice to give Mellow Aquatics credit where credit is due instead of editing out their copyright tag.

Fish with that coloration are fed a diet high in beta carotene and other natural color enhancers. Discontinue this diet, and the orange and reds will fade. Cyclop Eeze is a common food, along with some of the various color flakes on the market. I've been working with some of Mellow's older koi line for a couple of years now, fish from before they moved. Fed properly, the higher coverage fry will maintain their high percentage of orange coloration. Feed them a normal angel diet & it does fade.

As stated, look into some of the German lines. They are doing the same thing, importation won't cost anywhere near as much. Look into local clubs as well, fish like that are being bred locally.
