I'v had a baby crypt for a long time now and It's not growing much. Should I cut it off from the mother plant and put it in my 2.5 where the light is stronger to try and get it to grow more or what should I do, i'm lost.

Crypts are pretty slow growers and if it's small, it won't do much for a while. I'd recommend just leaving it alone. Moving it could trigger a melting of the leaves and a crypt that small may not recover. It'll grow.

Are you sure because the only reason I ask this is it's in a 29 gallon and it has only 20w of light and it's 18" deep and it's been about the same for almost 8 months now? Sorry if it's a dumb questions I'v just been waiting for it to grow and it doesn't seem to wana while my other larger crypts are.

O another questions, I have an amazon sword and it has send up a long narrow shoot up about 10" and now has stopped and is forming little leaves on it on different parts of the stem, what is this?

Planlets, similar to the crypt things, just leave them be and they'll grow into new plants.
