Cherry eggs are Green and stay inside the female. Those sound like snail eggs!

Cherry shrimp eggs can be either green or orange the egg colour seems to have no bearing on the colour of the offspring. The eggs are held in the rear swimmer legs of the females and you will usually see the female fanning her back legs giving the eggs oxygen as the water is pushed past them.

Frog like spawn sounds more like snail eggs.

If the zebra snails are zebra nerites, it won't be them. They don't lay frog spawn-like eggs. They lay single eggs that look like sesame seeds on the decor - which don't come off, I've tried. I have some on my filter at the moment, and an old piece of wood looked like it had measles. The eggs don't hatch so they just stay there. For ever.

im not sure what type of zebra snail i have. And now i can see the green and orange colours on some of my shrimp :)

Have a look at the snails in this http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/75554-snail-species/ It includes a pic of nerite snails, though mine don't have the zigzag edge like the photo, the edges of the stripes are smooth. If your snail doesn't look like that, you may be able to match it to one of the other pics. Most other snails do lay frog spawn-like eggs, though apple snails lay them above the water.
