What Creature Did I Just Take Out Of My Tank?

I opened the top of my tank to feed my clawed frogs, and on some of the floating live plants, i see....a 3/4" long yellow caterpillar?

i scooped it out on a leaf and took a picture....anyone have a guess as to what it is, and how the heck it got in my tank?!

yes it is alive! it slinks just like a caterpillar! i dont know what it is or what to do with it! i dont want to just chuck it outside incase it needs to live near an aquatic environment lol

Do you feed live food? Maybe it came in with some live bloodworm or something? I bet your clawed frog would eat it given half the chance

what ever it is.....its nasty lol. i only feed them live earthworms everynow and then....i am trying to raise my own, but its slow going lol...so i buy them at a nearby bait shop
