To my low light 55 gal, successful plants are listed in sig and I want others that will do just as well as there is no CO2, very little ferts and no pruning unless I replant something elsewhere when I trim the roots. Nothing floating btw please!

There are lots of moss species.

Java moss
Spiky moss
Weeping moss
Christmas moss
Taiwan moss
Peacock Moss

I do grow moss in my other smaller tanks and am currently growing a little bit in the 55 gallon but for some reason I don't think of moss as plants even though it is, I mean something with leaves really :good:

you've changed your avatar again, batting your eyelids at everyone. It's nice but I prefer the other one, it was more sparkly :)

Plants you can try include Ambulia, Elodia, or any of the Hygrophillas, in particular H. polysperma or ruba.
And I know you don't want a floating plant but Water Sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides) can be grown as a floating plant but also does really well when planted in the gravel. When grown in the gravel it becomes more of a shrub and can look very effective as a hedge.

Haha sorry I think this avatar is more serene, a bit cuter and basically not Ariel, as much as I love her I can't call her Mel can I lol
Thanks for the tips Colin :good:

I'm not a girls blouse, I'm a fish :p

you should be happy with the water sprite. It grows rapidly and is nice to look at with its light green leaves. It gives good contrast when mixed with dark green plants like Elodia and has a completely different leaf shape compared to swords and crypts :)
