I was at Walmart today (I know, I know) and I was looking at bettas (again, I know) and there was one poor guy there who was noticeably roached in the spine. He looked very, I guess contracted would be the word. So much so that his little mouth seemed to jut straight up into the water, like someone had punched him under the chin or something. Body looked short, too. Any ideas on what this might have been? Besides the fact that they don`t take care of the fish worth a ######, anyway....
