Hai there, I've been looking about and really quite like corys, only issue is I only have a 28litre.. Is this too small for them? If not then which ones would I want to be going for? :) Thankyouuu

what is your substrate, and PH/Hardness? there are a few potential fits for a tank around that size if it is a bit long. C. Habrosus, C. Pygmaeus, and C. Hastatus if you had sand, the tank was very mature, and if the tank was well planted.

Subtrate is currently gravel but, thats getting changed this weekend to a fine sand :)

PH - 7.2

GH - 8

KH - 10

The tank isn't planted, I didn't have a clue what to do with them at all to be honest but I've been looking into them and am considering getting some in there. Would deffenitly do it if it opened up the option of a cory for me :)

Okay, if your tank has adequate ground cover and stable water parameters then I would recommend a maximum of 7 C. Pygmaeus, C. Hastatus, and C. Habrosus

The miniture Corydoras do far better in 10+ groups and there is no way I'd put 10 in a 28l, I'd be looking at a 50l tank minimum for a species only tank.

IMO, they do absolutely fine in groups of 6. This is how I have mine and they have been absolutely fine, swimming in the middle layers of the tank for most of the day and rarely being inactive
