What Cichlids Would You Recommend

new to all this cichlid stuff so looking for a type to go in with my

6 tiger barbs
2 kribs pair(i know tis is a cichlid)
3 platy
1 red finned shark
1 small plec

all suggestion welcome so i can see ppics, pref after a pair

why not german or bolivan rams, maybe some other dwarf cichlid. What size tank do you have?

100L tank yes, dwarf cichlid would be ideal what other types are there? are rams not too timid to go with the tiger barbs

well i would remove the tiger barbs if you want dwarf cichlids, I didnt think about that. If you remove the tiger barbs, there are many dwarf cichlids you could keep. DWARF CICHLID SITE, that is a good site to go to for info on south american, and we african dwarf cichlids. I bet you could find you that you like on that site.

no you cant keep any more cichlids!

Kribs are very territorial and the tank can just about fit them

what plec is it? and i think the red tail sark needs a bigger tank aswell =/

you can only keep 2 cichlids thats it, so either a pair of kribs, or a pair of rams

think I agree with Bagu for a 20g one pair of cichlids is enough and same for the plec it may be small now but wont stay that way for long if it is the common.
