What Can I Put With Angels?

Just want to know what types of fish can go in with angels and get along well?

Basically anything that is too big to get eaten and nothing that will nip their fins. Also anything overly aggressive, as their fins are big targets for others to take chunks out of sometimes.

If your thinking about them for your 42g, your DG might be an issue its a bit hit and miss and your neons might end up as food eventually when the angels get to be adults. Not sure how the cherry barbs are with them though...

ive got cherrys with mine, also, checkered barbs, rosy barbs, sae's, ive had pictus cats and corys, cardinals, rams, not sure about gouramis, i think the dwarfs are ok, i wouldnt go for guppies, tigar barbs nip other fish, bettas are debatable even females.

i had to remove my DG as it was constantly harrasing the angels now all is well

Dwarf cichlids work well. And as Wills said. If the angel can't fit it in their mouth, and they aren't overly agressive, then you should be okay.

Same experience for me. Male dwarf gourami can be feisty little fellas.

My little honey gouramis,male and female,used to face up to the angels.I only have 1 angel just now,currently housed with bristlenoses,neons and apistos.
The only one that causes any problems is the male apisto,who likes to try and eat the angel's ventrals.
