Hello,

I need a little more information on stocking my tank and what i can keep with what etc. I will list what i currently have and planing to get at the weekend, could anyone let me know what else i could put in there please.

List of curentl tank stock
1x butterfly fish
3x dwarf gourimis
1x clown loach
1x upside cat fish
1x zebra loach
1x Synodontis cat fish (if thats what it's called)

I am going to be adding 2 new angel fish at the weekend but im not to sure what i could add, im not looking for anythink like tetras, barbs these are fish im not really a fan of. The tank is just over 100 litres.

I also have a 3ft by 1ft tank that i want to set up and run again (it was my old fish tank before i upgraded .) I want to know what sort of non-comminal(sp) fish that i could keep that sort of size tank, as im fully aware that some can grow quite big.

Opps forgot to add that its also a sand tank, as i find this easy to keep.

Thank you

do you know what the syno is or do you have a pic of it because some can be agressive when they get bigger.

I will explain to you what it look's like as mine is always hiding in a rock, or bog wood.

The one i have is like a clown loach body and a spotted head. It looks kinda simlar to one of these Synodontis petricola if not one of them.

You have fish there that need company (the loaches) and that get too big for your tank (clown loach and probably the syno)

Also unless your tank is 18" tall then angels will not be suitable. I'd rethink your existing stock before adding to it.

I understand what you are saying about the angel fish getting to big for the tank and aswell as the loach's getting bigger. But the tank im using now is a tempory home at the moment, while im saving up for a bigger tank. I am looking at going for somethink that is around 6ft long by 2ft wide and i dont plan to stock much in the tank.

I am fully aware of the size that angel fish can grow to and the tank space that they need which is why i am getting them a bigger tank. The loach in my tank seems to have settled in fine with the other loachs and seems quite happy to me, but i will take on board what you have said. Also when you say company do you mean of their kind?

With the loach that i was looking for it is this http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/image...mp;image_id=888

Thank you for all the help and comments.

it dosent say how big it will grow because its a hybrid so you will just have to wait and see.
