What Can Go In A 30 Gallon?

im not sure what i should stock my 30 gallon tank with ??? i already have a peppermint shrimp in there and a sand sifting starfish what else will go with these and how soon could i put them in/

I would recomend small fish such as clowns, damsels, gobies, chromises, and cardinals. All of these fish are reef safe, and stay kinda small.

Many small Tetraodonts (for example, many Monacanthids (Filefishes) and Canthigaster Puffer fish) could also fit. Lionfishes of the genus Dendrochirus would also find themselves at home in a 30 gallon tank. As would many Frogfishes, and the Dwarf Moray (Gymnothorax melatremus).

i wouldnt go with the cardinals because they make attack the srimp .personally if i had a 30 gallon i would be looking at these

clownfish
gobies
damsels
green chromis
wrasses

there are loads more but these are just examples of what i would go with but remmeber all fish are diffrent
e.g some wrasses will be ok some wont look at there min.tank size more rough ideas

and i would say add 1-2 fish every 2 weeks mininum

Wrasses are very interesting fish. Cirrhilabrus, Wetmorella, Paracheilinus, and Psuedocheilinus all make good inhabitants of smaller aquaria.

I do have to disagree with the notion that fishes can be added no more than 1-2 every two weeks; I added both my Triggers within a week, along with a pair of Clownfishes. I usually add my fish in groups of three, since that's how I place orders.

I have never heard of a Cardinal attacking a shrimp. Wrasses, on the other hand, are highly predatory of small crustaceans. I would sooner trust a small pelagic Trigger with shrimp than I would a Fairy Wrasse.

thats what i have been told and read beacuse it doesnt raise as much stress but thats somee1 else everybody has diffrent opions
