Hello,

a friend has 3 clown loaches and i just love the guys, they look great but mainly its there behaviour i love,

Unfortunaty ive only got a 30 Gallon (sand substrate) that im just starting stocking and want some similar loaches with bags of personality but dont grow asbig as the clowns, any ideas? i was thinking maybe yoyo/pakastani loaches altho any other ideas welcome

Tim

I don't think I've ever kept a loach that didn't have the same sort of personality, the weather and kuhli loaches are crazy buggers even though they aren't botias. Yoyos are great, but they do get a bit big and there are smaller options. I've got some zebra loaches (3-4 inches tops) that are very entertaining and they've got a lovely coloration to boot. The dwarf chain and zipper loaches are about the same size or smaller, the smaller you go the larger the group you could keep.

Well I had a angel and i put a clown loach in and it cause to much stress to the angel because the clown is to active for the angels
