I chose other since I have three different stands and have no majority.

35 gallon - store bought wood
16 gallon - store bought artificial wood look
7 gallon - table/dresser

20 Gallon|Table/Dresser
10 Gallon|Table/Dresser
4 1 Gallons|Table/Dresser
2 2.5 Gallons|Table/Dresser

I voted "other", since "any available flat surface" wasn't an option.

10g and 2 5g hex's on the buffet in the dining room
5g nursery tank on the bathroom counter
2 1.25g betta bowls on the desk in the office
5g divided on my nightstand
20g, 10g, 3g and 2.5g on what used to be a coffee table
Oh - 20g, 29g, and 10g in the garage, waiting until I get another available flat surface!

No MTS here...

2ft in living room is on home made cabinet
2ft in bedroom is on home made table
3ft in bedroom is iron stand from a neighbour who stopped keeping fish
4ft in bedroom is on home made stand
Have run out of bedrooms!!!
Its great having a mate who is a joiner :)

55g in bedroom on reinforced dresser
20g in computer room on 2-drawer file cabinet
10g in bedroom on chest of drawers (recently relocated from kitchen counter)

I love going to sleep listening to the various filters and air stones going. I got rid of my "white noise" fan, don't need it. :)

If I save up and buy a 75g I think I better put it downstairs on the slab foundation, eyeing a dining room wall or somewhere in the crowded living room. I guess I could move the stereo somewhere else. :D

All the Juwel tanks are on Juwel stands, The Seabray is on a Seabray stand and all the others are on tables, shelves and a chest of drawers.

All mine are on diy wood stands & racks, except a 55 with a 20 long below it, which is on an iron stand.

Tolak

80 gallon -- store bought wood
29 gallon -- store bought artificial wood-like stuff
10 gallons -- two on cabinets built-in to my rooms, one on an iron stand, one on a sturdy wooden stepping stool (betta fry tank), one on the floor of the storage room of our garage (also a fry tank... I'm not even going to count the other fry tank, which is actually a plastic tub :*) )
5 gallons -- on my computer desk... my iron computer desk with a glass top
Anything smaller -- every available surface, including some shelving bought specifically for the purpose of holding betta bowls.

I'm with you on the little bit of of noise coming from the tanks at night. :)

If anyone has any unique pictures of their aquarium stands I would like to see them.

My 2 bigger juewl tanks are on juwel stands, the smaller one on a small table, another wee tank on a bookcase and the QT in my bedroom, on top of a chest of drawers - so allsorts :)

My lil tank is on an old dresser (not old as in dilapidated, but as in well made strong heavy wood thing). The two big tanks are on fish cabinet stands. I couldn't put any on the floor for fear of my son deciding it would be a good paddling pool.
Hugs,
P.
