I bought these dry ferts that I've been using in my 125gal tank, but the plants seem to be dying (while the plants in my other 2 tanks that I do nothing to are thriving, go figure).
I guess I'm missing some kind of fert.
I have mono potassium phosphate
PMDD preMix http://www.greenleafaquariums.com/aquarium-fertilizers-supplements/pmdd.html
Ultimate GH booster http://www.greenleafaquariums.com/aquarium-fertilizers-supplements/gh-booster.html

Any help would be great.
The tank gets plenty of light, and has a pressurized CO2 system set up.

Hrmm... looking at the dosing guide, looks like I'm missing the trace part. AND I'm not dosing enough. I'll have to get some at the Petstore until I can get a dry fert variety when it's available at the place I purchase it from.

How are you measuring the CO2? How much flow is does the tank have?
Are you dosing daily?

Honestly, not positive on the lighting. I think it's 2 39w bulbs on either side of the tank. It's been plenty for the tank before. I know that isn't the problem.

My CO2 is connected to a bubble counter. That's not the problem...

I think it was just the lack of the right ferts. I wasn't adding in any kind of trace fertilizer as I had been before (ran out) and didn't even think about it until the plants were noticeably getting worse and worse.

For ferts check out all the methods here under "dosing methods".

Dont be so quick to rule out lack of CO2. A bubble counter doesnt tell you what concentration of CO2 the water is neither if this is evenly distributed. You're merely getting an idea how many bubbles are going into the tank. On a 125gallon tank you're looking at a total of 4730litres per hour of flow. It's then a case of using spraybars or lily pipes (maybe powerheads too) to spread this flow evenly.

Plants are the best test kit you have. If there's something not quite right, they will show you. We can also use drop checkers to give us an idea on CO2 distribution.

Are you dosing nutrients daily?

The filter blows around the CO2 quite well. I'm not worried about that.

No I'm not dosing ferts daily. I was doing it once a week, maybe twice every other week if I skipped a water change.
It is what I've been doing ever since I started up the tank. The plants were doing wonderful before. Growing like crazy, but I'm fairly certain that when I ran out of the trace stuff and didn't replace it, that's when the plants started to suffer.
We'll see if I'm correct. If not, then back to the drawing board.
