I have a got a few black mollies and i have tried to feed them raw peas and small pieces of spinach but they just dont eat that stuff so i was wondering what more can i feed them and if i made any mistake while preparing the food for them and i would really like to know how to prepare those vegetables so that my fishes gulp up all the food which i give to them.

Peas, you need to cook first and shell them, squash them up in your fingers and add. This makes them softer and more likely to be taken. It sometimes takes a few goes for some fish to get a liking for them.

I have given peas to my fishes around 3 times. 2 times i just added it in the tank and they didnt eat. Third time i did it the way u have directed and then too they didnt eat. I remember that they had a go at it and then threw it out and then didnt try it again . as u say that it takes more than a single feeding for them to eat the peas so i will feed them once again now.

yup.
if your hungry enough............. :shout:
all my fish love em, but alot of them took a while to even try them , i think it was jealousy, seeing catfish and angel go ape over them for the rest of the fish to get involved.
but im no fish whisperer

Mine eat blanched deshelled peas the BN plecs cucumber raw potato pretty much anything that goes in just put them in when there hungry enough they will start eating them.

So well what i can do is that i should not give them any food for 24 hours and then i will feed them those de-shelled peas.
