What Age Would You Separate Male/female Fry/juvenile Dwarf Gourami

Just after some advice from people who have bred and reared these successfully?
Mine are currently only 2 weeks old prehaps, so plenty of time, i just want to get organised. I understand i have to separate the larger/faster grown individuals to stop them eating the smaller ones. So have that covered for when/if it happens, but wondering if they will end up squabbling and fighting at a particular age or size.
