USA,
I also had an offer for some brevis m'toto. I was wondering how many of those could be kept in a 29 gallon? Also how many if i was to get a brichardi or a pair of calvus?

What about 1 male + 2-3 females and a pair of one of the smaller julodochromis (sp?) species? Maybe you can keep more but if you provide the right water conditions they will most likely breed so you will get more eventually.

no julies. dont have the small kind, even though i really like them. The lfs sells them for an arm and a leg. :(

If I was to not get a rockdweller, would I be able to get more brevis then? If not I probebly will stick with ocellatus.

Brevis are monogomous fish, while the Occ are harem. You can do four pairs in a 29 without a problem.

actually i decided against them, and descided to go with

Pair Altolamprologous calvus White Chaitika
1m 4f ocellatus
1 dwarf pleco
8 danios

touch me touch me now i love school so much i love it\
