was looking and watching the fish in the tank last night and eveything was normal......
looking this evening and boooooooooooooooooom, white sport!!! and do you want tops this off. my heater has packed in.
 
if i lose any fish, this is the end of my fish hobby

if you are battling ich (salt like white spots on fish),  don't panic.  Dose with 1 tbs salt for ea 5 gallons of water and raise the temp to 86 or so.  After a few days, do a gravel vacuuming of about 20% of the water to clean eggs off bottom.   Then I would do daily water changes of 10% each day vacuuming the bottom while doing so.  I would do a half dose of salt again in about 4 days.   Continue the partial water changes/cleaning for about another week.  Ich should then be gone.  Ich is not good to have but it's' curable.
 
I just got over ich in my tank when my heater died.  Get a new heater asap.  Note:  salt treatment is not good for non-scaled fish such as cory catfish and plecos or for invertibrates.
