go to aquabid!! in the halfmoon plakat section, look at the bids and PRICES, some bettas went to 100-200 DOLLARS, THTS ALOT FOR 1 FISHz!!! check it out!! but the fish does look really good, i wonder how they would buy that.

Unless I was a serious breeder, there's no way I'd pay big money for a Betta, & even then it'd have to be something extra special

Might be a fake bid. Happens often for various reasons. Esp since one of the bidders who's bumping it up has zero feedback.
