I had two Cories (I have 5) in a 20gal high tank. Today, twice, the same two swam up to the middle of the tank together, swam into each other's faces, one went under the other, then they went to the bottom of the tank together. Then, an hour or so later, these same two went up and did the same thing.. I know for a fact they are a male and female. These two pay no attention to the other 3. Were they spawning? I never saw them do this before. :)

if it looks like one of them is trying to tickle the others belly then yes i would say its spawning behavior
